How I work
Before we work together
We’re probably not a good fit if...
You need polished screens fast, before we’ve figured out how the product should work Design decisions are based on gut feeling, with no room for research or testing You want a designer to execute decisions, rather than question them You see user experience as a nice extra, not something that affects the business There’s no development team to build what we design
We’ll work well together if...
You’re open to having your assumptions tested, even if the answer surprises you You see a confusing product as a business problem, not just a design problem You care about how the product works as much as how it looks You trust experts to own their part of the work You want the design built, shipped and improved
What happens after you reach out
-
Step 1
Intro call
We start with a 15-minute call where you tell me about the product, the problem and what you need help with. I’ll ask a few questions, and we’ll see together if we’re a good fit to work together.
-
Step 2
Proposal
If it feels like a good fit, I’ll send you a proposal within 48 hours with the scope, timeline and price, so you know exactly what’s included before we start.
-
Step 3
Understanding the problem
Before I start designing, I spend some time understanding the product, the users and the problem we’re trying to solve.
This usually means a few short conversations with the people who know the product best, plus looking at any relevant data or existing research.
-
Step 4
Working with your team
I work directly in your existing setup, whether that’s your Figma files, design system, Slack, Teams or project tools.
The goal is to work as part of your team, not create a separate process you have to manage.
-
Step 5
Regular updates
You’ll get a short written update every two days with what I’ve worked on, what’s coming next and anything I need from you.
So you always know where the project stands without needing extra meetings.
Clear and simple. Approving it today.
